This weekend is an opportunity for free visits at more than 100 National Parks where there is a daily fee. The National Parks are normally uncommonly inexpensive with the highest rates going at $5 per person entry fee or a select few major parks like Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton at $25 per vehicle.     In honor of Veteran’s Day Weekend, there’s now some free entry to many national parks this weekend, November 11-13.  America’s Best Idea – the national parks – gets even better with several fee-free days at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees.* Make sure to mark your calendar for the final fee-free days in 2011:

  • November 11-13
